President's Statement
In my experience Creativity is the key to Mankind’s success. I believe that one of our endeavours should be to try and capture the creativity of our ancestors for the enlightenment of our children. I would like to think that the Bradshaw Foundation is achieving this in part, and thus helping to preserve and protect the rich Heritage of Mankind that surrounds us.

Chairman's Report
Since its inception the Bradshaw Foundation has done much to promote the study of early man’s artistic achievement. From the resources provided by the Board, the Trustees first expedition to the Bradshaw ancient Rock paintings culminated in a spectacular book by Grahame Walsh. This much prized book is now out of print, but Grahame Walsh is in the process of editing a second edition to be published in 2001.
The support of the Foundation was instrumental in helping Keler Lucas create the Campeche National Heritage Park in Brazil.
The most recent major activity of the Foundation has been the study of the Dabous giraffe carving north of Agadez in Niger. This February, the third expedition by Dr Jean Clottes and his team finalised the documentation of the 9000-year-old site and a detailed study of the petroglyphs will be produced in due course.
The 1st aluminium cast of the giraffe has now been made and has been sent to Agadez. A 2nd cast will be shown at the Dawn of the Human Spirit exhibition for 5 months from May 5th 2000 at the Cologne Zoo. A 3rd cast will be shown at the Royal Geographical Society’s Creative Sparks London exhibition during September 2000.
United Exhibits Denmark, the organisers of Dawn of the Human Spirit exhibit have purchased a cast to include in their 22 planned exhibitions around the world.
The on-going work of the Bradshaw Foundation can be viewed on www.Bradshaw-Foundation.com The Site has received international acclaim from enthusiasts of Rock Art over the last 12 months.
I wish to thank all those who have enthusiastically contributed to the work of the Foundation and John Robinson as Coordinator.
