La Baume Latrone is one of the five decorated Palaeolithic caves of the Gard Department (Baume Latrone, grotte Bayol, grotte d’Oulen, grotte Chabot, grotte des Points; Fig. 1). Hollowed into Urgonian-type Cretaceous limestone of the gorges du Gardon, three kilometers downstream of the village of Russan (Sainte-Anastasie), this cave is part of a larger karstic system including the caves of La Citerne, Saint-Joseph and Grotte des Frères.....

Praileaitz I cave is located in Deba, Guipuzkoa (Basque Country), in the north of the Iberian Peninsula (Fig. 1). The cave opens onto a steep slope on the side of the Deba river. The site has been excavated since 2000. The fieldwork revealed short and not particularly dense human occupations that correspond to different periods: Gravettian, Solutrean, Magdalenian and Epipaleolithic. The most significant evidence is an important collection of Magdalenian pendants (Peñalver & Mujika 2005)......
