The Journey of Mankind Genetic Map uses pop-ups for further reading, climate and extra maps. When viewing the map you will see symbols indicating more information. Clicking these will open a pop up window. Due to the large amount of spam pop-ups on the web, many people have pop-up blocking software running to prevent these.
If you are running pop-up blocking software on your computer you will need to set it to allow pop-ups from the Bradshaw Foundation domain name which is:
www.bradshawfoundation.com
For example
To allow pop-ups on Microsoft XP / Internet Explorer 6
In Internet Explorer 6 Select .....
Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Pop-up Blocker Settings
In the Pop-up Blocker Settings window, locate the ‘Address of Web site to allow’ window, type in www.bradshawfoundation.com then click the Add button. www.bradshawfoundation.com will be added to the list of ‘Allowed sites’
This is an example for Microsoft XP / Internet Explorer 6, any other pop-up blocking software you may have running, you will need to follow a similar method to allow pop-ups from the Genetic Map.
